This 51-year-old woman, 5’5 and 125 lbs., had biopsy-proven changes to her breast and confirmed she had early stages of breast cancer. She underwent genetic testing which confirmed a higher lifetime risk of developing breast cancer so she elected to have a bilateral 2-stage nipple-sparring mastectomy. Bilateral tissue expanders were place at the time of her mastectomies, and 4 months later 525 cc extra-full profile silicone gel implants were placed in the pre-pectoral position. Patient is seen here 3 years after her reconstruction.
