Home/Gallery/Breast Reconstruction with Implant/Patient 15
With a very strong family history of breast cancer, at the age of 41 years old this patient underwent bilateral risk-reducing mastectomies and reconstruction. Her reconstruction involved a two-stage expander-to-implant procedure as well as tissue flaps to manage her larger breast size. She completed her reconstruction with nipple/areola tattooing and is very happy and maintains excellent results 5 years after her reconstruction.
